By purchasing a ticket or participating in any NZ Lotto Zone game, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all games operated by NZ Lotto Zone, including PowerBall Max, Strike Lucky, and Kiwi Cash.

NZ Lotto Zone reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued participation in our games after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from participation in NZ Lotto Zone games shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase lottery tickets or claim prizes. NZ Lotto Zone may request proof of age at any time.

Residency: While tickets can be purchased by visitors to New Zealand, you must be physically present in New Zealand to purchase tickets from authorized retailers.

Prohibited Persons: The following individuals are not eligible to participate:

• Employees of NZ Lotto Zone and their immediate family members
• Directors and officers of NZ Lotto Zone
• Authorized retailers and their staff during working hours
• Persons who have been banned from participating due to violation of these terms

Self-Exclusion: Individuals who have self-excluded from gambling activities are prohibited from purchasing tickets during their exclusion period.

Purchase Locations: Tickets must be purchased from authorized NZ Lotto Zone retailers. A list of authorized retailers is available on our website.

Ticket Prices: Current ticket prices are displayed at all retailers and on our website. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Sales Cutoff: Ticket sales close 30 minutes before each scheduled draw. Tickets purchased after the cutoff time will be valid for the next draw.

Ticket Validation: All tickets must be validated by an authorized retailer terminal. Handwritten, damaged, or altered tickets are void and cannot be used to claim prizes.

Ticket Responsibility: Lottery tickets are bearer instruments. You are responsible for the safekeeping of your tickets. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced or honored for prize claims.

No Cancellations: Once a ticket has been purchased and printed, it cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded.

Draw Schedule:

• PowerBall Max: Wednesday and Saturday at 8:00 PM NZST
• Strike Lucky: Daily at 7:00 PM NZST
• Kiwi Cash: Monday to Friday at 8:00 PM NZST

Draw Process: All draws are conducted using certified random number generation systems that comply with international lottery standards. Draws may be witnessed by independent auditors.

Results Publication: Official results are published on our website immediately following each draw and are available at all authorized retailers. Results are also available through our customer service line.

Draw Postponement: In the event of technical difficulties, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control, NZ Lotto Zone reserves the right to postpone or cancel a draw. If a draw is cancelled, all tickets for that draw will be void and refunds will be issued.

Disputes: In the event of any discrepancy between draw results published in different media, the results recorded in our central gaming system shall be deemed the official and binding results.

Prize Structure: Prize amounts and divisions are determined according to the specific game rules. Prize pools are calculated based on ticket sales and predetermined percentages.

Claim Periods: Winners have 12 months from the draw date to claim their prizes. Unclaimed prizes after this period will be allocated to the Prize Reserve Fund.

Claim Process:

• Prizes up to $1,000: Claim at any authorized retailer with your winning ticket
• Prizes $1,001 to $10,000: Claim at regional offices with valid ID
• Prizes over $10,000: Claim at Auckland head office with valid ID and ticket verification

Prize Payment: Prizes may be paid by cash, cheque, or electronic transfer at the discretion of NZ Lotto Zone. Large prizes may be subject to verification procedures which can take up to 14 business days.

Taxation: All prizes are tax-free in New Zealand. Winners are responsible for seeking their own tax advice if residing outside New Zealand.

Publicity: By claiming a prize over $10,000, winners consent to NZ Lotto Zone using their name, region, and prize amount for promotional purposes unless they specifically request anonymity in writing.

Group Claims: If a ticket is held by multiple persons, one representative must be nominated to claim the prize on behalf of the group. NZ Lotto Zone will not mediate disputes between group members.

Limited Liability: NZ Lotto Zone's liability is limited to the replacement of a defective ticket or the refund of the ticket purchase price. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

System Errors: In the event of a computer malfunction, communication error, or other technical issue, NZ Lotto Zone reserves the right to void any affected tickets and issue refunds.

Ticket Verification: All tickets must be verified through our central system. The data in our system is the official record for determining winning status.

Force Majeure: NZ Lotto Zone shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or government action.
